    Distance: 14 miles
    A 14 mile circular route from Church Stretton which can be shortened to 13 miles taking in beautiful countryside and visits well known attractions such as Acton Scott Working Farm and the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre. Also possible is a spur to Craven Arms adding 5 miles each way OR you could do a linear route from Church Stretton to Craven Arms and return by train, total distance 12 miles.

    Distance: 19 miles
    A 20 mile circular route from Church Stretton, with a few testing climbs and steep descents over the Long Mynd, rewarding you with fabulous views and the opportunity to watch gliders at close hand. The traffic-free section through the Forestry Commission land is on a well-made stone track, suitable for most bicycles.
  • Church Stretton Cycle Rides Route 4: Church Stretton Challenge (15 mile)

    Distance: 15 miles
    A challenging 15 mile, or 13 mile with shortcut, circular off-road mountain bike route from Church Stretton along the top of the Long Mynd. The testing climbs and steep descents reward you with fabulous views and the opportunity to watch gliders at close hand and are well worth the effort.

    Distance: 16 miles
    A 16 mile double figure of eight route, allowing for short cuts, exploring the valley of the river Rea north of Cleobury Mortimer. An excellent summer evening ride with one particularly steep descent to watch out for.
  • Cleobury Mortimer Cycle Rides Route 2: Southwest Hamlets (13 mile)

    Distance: 13 miles
    A 13 mile, or 10 mile with short cut, circular route is a delightful short but testing circuit along quiet lanes southwest of Cleobury with some steep descents and plenty of uphill sections. The route is set out clockwise to maximise the wonderful views and you will discover 4 churches set in ancient hamlets along the way.
  • Cleobury Mortimer Cycle Rides Route 3: On the Edge of the Wyre Forest

    Distance: 19 miles
    This 19 mile circular route starts with several fairly testing hills but the second half affords easier riding. After a ride through the hamlets of route 2 you will find yourself in the fringes of the Wyre Forest, you may spot a deer or lapwing.
  • Cleobury Mortimer Cycle Rides Route 4: The Clee Challenge (35 mile)

    Distance: 33 miles
    This 35 mile circular route, 24 miles with shortcut, is a challenging ride with considerable climbs towards the Clees (along the edges of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), returning via remote lanes with long descents to Cleobury. A tough ride with dramatic views. Take all day to enjoy this ride. The two possible shortcuts miss the best sections.
