Wellington 360 – Wrockwardine Walks – Route 2 – Tiddie Cross

A short walk from St Peter's Church in the charming village of Wrockwardine

Walk directions

  1. Start

Start from the church, going slightly downhill towards the War Memorial and take the lane to the left past Wrockwardine Farm. Continue straight on past a lane on the left. Continue along this (Tiddiecross) Lane for about 0.6 mile (1 km).

  2. Step 2

Just before reaching Tiddie Cross House, turn into a field on your left and cross the field. After 200 yards (175 m) the path will cross through a hedge into another field. Turn right and follow the hedge for about 20 yards (18 metres), then turn left and cross a wild area heading towards the left side of a grey metal fence. Keep straight on to a kissing gate onto Leaton lane, then turn left up the lane to Wrockwardine. At the next lane on the left continue straight on to the next junction and bear left following the edge of the village past the cemetery and back around to the church.
