A 6 mile loop exploring northern Oswestry and Gobowen and the countryside around Old Oswestry Hillfort and Park Hall Farm. A couple of steep climbs and some sections cross busy roads. Recommended for older children with experience of cycling on the road.
Family Friendly Rides – Traffic-free Adventures: Shrewsbury to Uffington
A 10 mile off road cycle route on tarmac and gravel paths, between Shrewsbury and Uffington. Allow one and a half hours. Suitable for adults and children over 8 years old.

Family Friendly Rides: Wildlife & Waterways
An 11km / 7 miles family friendly cycle route around Shrewsbury, plus an optional short walk. Allow 2-3 hours. The route is mostly quiet roads or traffic-free paths. You can use any sort of bicycle but some paths are unsurfaced so may be muddy. There is one short stretch on a busy road where there is the option of walking if preferred.

Whitchurch Cycle Rides Route 2: To Wrenbury & Marbury
An easy 13.5 mile circular cycle route from Whitchurch into Cheshire and takes in the pretty villages of Wrenbury and Marbury, where welcoming hostelries can be found. The wharf at Wrenbury Mill is sure to be of particular interest to canal lovers.
