A five and a half mile walk along the edge of the spectacular Stiperstones, then easy walking across a valley scattered with mining remains. The walk takes two to three hours. This is a mainly lowland walk between higher ground crossing mainly grassland and passing along quiet lanes.
The Bog Visitor Centre
The Bog Centre is a community run restaurant and craft centre where you can buy their legendary cakes, refreshments and local crafts and pottery. Check www.bogcentre.co.uk for opening times. Craft and local gift items for sale.
The Stiperstones National Nature Reserve
This spectacular upland reserve is managed by Natural England and is famous for its interesting geology and red grouse population.
