Easy Access 6: Monkmoor Community Woodland

This delightful, relatively unknown site is next to the River Severn and close to the centre of Shrewsbury. It is a quiet 'out of the way' location with excellent views of the river and Haughmond Hill.

There is no car park next to this site, only roadside parking. Access via other entrances is possible but does not link to the surfaced paths. Access from the road on Coseley Avenue is challenging, via a steeply descending surfaced path.

The site has an undulating surfaced path circuit. Fairly steep gradients mean that wheelchair users might need assistance to navigate the whole site. The site is suitable for mobility scooters.
