A 3 mile scenic route with 8 mile longer route option exploring the countryside around Oswestry.

A hilly and very scenic 3 mile circular cycle route, on quiet roads, from Oswestry via Trefonen and the Treflach Trail, with a longer 8 mile route available.

Ride directions

  1. Step 1

    Start: St Oswald’s Church, B4579 Church Street. Turn right out of churchyard on Church Street.

  2. Step 2

    Go straight over the traffic lights onto Morda Road. Take care, this is a busy junction.

  3. Step 3

    Take the next right onto Penylan Lane. Take care, descent towards river can be slippery.

  4. Step 4

    Turn left at the T junction

  5. Step 5

    Turn left at the T junction

  6. Step 6

    continue straight on, take the next left onto Croeswylan Lane

  7. Step 7

    Turn left at the T junction onto Morda Road and continue straight along this road to return to your start point.
