Ludlow Family Friendly Rides: Oakly Park and Prior’s Halton
A family-friendly, 5 mile circular route from Bromfield to Ludlow.
Ride directions
Step 1
Cross the A49 using the underpass.
Step 2
Turn left and enter the quiet lane that passes Bromfield Church.
Step 3
Keep going through Oakly Park and along Halton lane, passing through the gate at the top of the rise, and continuing through the farm.
Step 4
Carry on along the lane until you reach a junction, shortly after passing The Cliffe Hotel on your right.
Step 5
Continue slight left at the junction and cross the river at Dinham Bridge.
Step 6
Turn left down the Linney, by the Millennium Green, and follow the road until it eventually meets Corve Street.
Step 7
Turn left onto the shared bike path, down Coronation Avenue/Bromfield Road and follow the cycle path, passing the entrance to the leisure centre. The path then runs adjacent to the A49, screened by a high hedge initially, and then joins the pavement next to the road.
Step 8
Continue along the path until you reach the Ludlow Food Centre. Use the underpass again to cross the road.
