Cycle Rides in Southern Oswestry: Morda Meander (4 mile)
A shorter mostly flat, scenic 4 mile route for less experienced cyclists avoiding the trunk roads. An 8 mile route is available with a few steep hills and two trunk road crossings.

- Take particular care at junctions, when cycling downhill and on loose surfaces
- Ride in single file on narrow or busy roads
- Consider wearing a helmet and high visibility clothing
Ride directions
Step 1
Start: St Oswald’s Church, Church Street. Turn right out of churchyard on Church Street.
Step 2
Go straight over the traffic lights. Take care, this is a busy junction. Continue on this road until you pass the Marches School.
Step 3
Turn right onto Croeswylan Lane. Descend until road swings hard left, cross Morda Brook/river, and then climb to T junction.
Step 4
Turn left at the T junction
Step 5
Continue straight on at turning for Nant Lane
Step 6
Continue over the crossroads in Morda onto Weston Road.
Step 7
Turn left onto Weston Avenue
Step 8
Take the next right onto Weston Lane
Step 9
Turn right onto Weston Avenue
Step 10
Turn left at the crossroads onto Edward Street
Step 11
Turn right at the T junction onto Upper Church Street to return to your start point.
