Following the Shropshire Way
When you walk the Shropshire Way you’ll see why the Shropshire Hills National Landscape are designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The varied geology of this relatively small area (covering nearly a quarter of Shropshire) has created a diverse and contrasting landscape which is all the more obvious when following the Shropshire Way. The craggy ridge of the Stiperstones, the moorland plateau of the Long Mynd, the quarried Clee Hills and the rolling countryside of the Clun Forest all have their own character.
