Could you act as our eyes and ears; patrolling countryside sites and talking to visitors, looking out for fallen trees or reporting any unusual wildlife sightings?
If so, you could become one of our Volunteer Rangers.
If you enjoy spending time in the outdoors and you have some spare time in the week, or perhaps the occasional Saturday or Sunday, you could help us by carrying out practical conservation work such as hedgelaying, scrub clearance, tree planting, keeping sites free of litter or footpath clearance. If there are sites that you visit regularly and would like to help with please contact us for more information.
As a Volunteer Ranger you could:
- Conserve wildlife and their habitats
- Organise events and activities
- Promote and encourage others to enjoy their local greenspaces
- Make Shropshire a better place to live
For more information on how to get involved with volunteering on our site please contact Lee Fraser, Volunteer Ranger Coordinator, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call on 01743 255956
