Walking with Offa
A series of pub walks in and around the Shropshire Hills
Showcasing the stunning scenery, wildlife and heritage of the area and offering a wonderful range of pubs to tempt the tastebuds for a well-earned pie and pint!
If you’re looking for some spectacular views, glimpses of history, wildlife and archaeology and a foaming pint of ale in a cosy country pub, then these waymarked pub walks are for you.
The walks start from a variety of locations in the western half of the Shropshire Hills National Landscape. They were developed in 2013 so some of the pubs have changed hands over the years, or are no longer open. Please take this into consideration when planning your walk and park considerately. Some of the original series have not been added to this website.
We would welcome feedback on any of the walks listed here to enable us to update the routes.
